Vanessa Hernandez isn’t exactly a secret, but she’s arguably the most under-the-radar, in-demand skin expert in Los Angeles. A first-generation Mexican-American, Hernandez is a self-made powerhouse in the world of skincare and an inspiring female entrepreneur.
Hernandez has built a completely referral-based business that continues to thrive despite the competitive landscape. Her technical, results-driven treatments and affable personality have set her apart and led her to become the highly sought-after skincare guru she is today. While Hernandez remains tight-lipped about her notable clientele, Angeleno’s like Eiza Gonzales, Amber Valletta, Elyse Walker, Katherine Schwarzenegger and Gwyneth Paltrow, have all publicly touted VH Skincare as their go-to destination for beautiful skin.
Hernandez began her career in esthetics training under skin legend Dangene (Bailey) Enterprise. Then at the young age of 26, VH Skincare was born and Hernandez opened with one treatment room inside the office of renowned Beverly Hills plastic surgeons, Dr. Michael Groth & Dr. Robert Hutcherson. In 2017, she moved into a three-room Clinic in Brentwood, and just two years later, the demand for Hernandez’s technical and efficacious treatments led her to grow once again. As of October 2019, Hernandez opened the doors to a stunning five-room, 1,600 square foot Clinic in the heart of downtown Brentwood. The space, decorated by LA-based interior designer, Tracie Butler, has a sophisticated, feminine vibe. With sleek black floors, brass accents and pastel pink and lilac hued velvet couches, the atmosphere takes a modern-day spin on old Hollywood glamour.
